Lawyer Wins $2.9 Million: Recently his team settled a birth injury case for $2.9 million on behalf of a young mother whose infant was injured at birth at a well-known hospital in Wayne County. 

"To win the $2.9 million, an attorney has to spend the money necessary to build a team of medical malpractice attorneys and medical experts able to document and demonstrate the hospital's mistakes," he said. 

In another case, Waechter received an award of $1.2 million dollars.  Though Waechter had a strong case, he took no chances and made it stronger by recruiting expert witnesses.  He did this despite working on a contingency fee, which is another way of saying he invests his own money in personal injury cases.
